Welcome back to AFCEA Belvoir's 2010-2011 season. We are delighted to present Mr. Gary Winkler as our September Guest Speaker. Mr. Winkler always draws a strong crowd, please register early to ensure you have a seat.

Fort Belvoir is home to many of our Army’s best trained, equipped, and led soldiers. AFCEA Belvoir is honored to be affiliated with such a dedicated community, and to facilitate the sharing of information and networking between the US Military and the IT industry sector via our annual conference and our monthly luncheons which feature guest speakers from the Fort Belvoir community. Your participation in our events enhances this knowledge sharing, and helps to pave the way for future collaborative endeavors.

AFCEA Belvoir serves as a bridge between government requirements and industry capabilities, representing the top government, industry, and military professionals in the fields of information technology, communications, and intelligence. Since 1993, our chapter has focused on the Fort Belvoir Community and surrounding areas. Today, with over 200 members, we continue to provide great networking opportunities for business professionals with a core focus in Information Technology.

We are also proud to host the Annual AFCEA Belvoir Industry Days, a three day conference starting with an Industry Day Golf Tournament at the Potomac Ridge Golf Course. This event connects information technology leaders from government and industry to facilitate communication between our military leaders and the industry and technology innovators that form our membership. This year's conference, attended by over 1,400 government and industry professionals, will be held on March 29-31, 2010 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Prince George’s County, MD.

In addition to great networking opportunities, we give back to the community each year in the form of grants to surrounding area schools and scholarships to deserving students to help fund their college education. We proudly donated over $170,000 last year and with your help, plan to do even more this year. We offer a special thank you to all of our members and corporate sponsors who make this possible.

AFCEA Belvoir invites you to join our chapter as a member or attend our luncheons and other events as a visitor.
